In today’s busy world, you might think you’re being weak or selfish to pause and focus on self-care.

In fact, nothing could be more selfless or serve the greater good.

You are of no earthly good to yourself, or anyone else, if you are so exhausted that you are literally “sick and tired.”

If you REALLY want to serve others, take care of your physical, mental, and spiritual bodies first.

When those areas of your life are filled with an abundance of health, happiness, and balance, you have the luxury of sharing and doing for others.

So today I choose to honor God by taking care of myself. I commit to consuming nourishing foods in proper proportions and taking time to take care of my mind, body, and spirit.

Use this quick affirmation to remind yourself today to take time for self-care.
